I painted this near the Old Mint on Esplanade Saturday. I had a fun weekend painting, seeing some great music & meeting folks. I will be out doing the same during Jazz Fest hope to see ya!

French Quarter Fest starts this weekend! I will be out and about live painting during the weekend. So if you see me stop by and say hi! I will be doing my thing at Jazz Fest as well, looking forward to it!
Open Studio and other news!
Hope everybody had a fun Mardi Gras! I have an Open Studio coming up March 10th. See some of the geauxcomix.com original artwork as well as everything else I do. Also a bit of news, I am starting to do illustrations for Offbeat magazine. So Keep an eye out for those starting around Jazz Fest time. I also might be showing up and live painting during YLC Wednesday in the Square concerts. I’ll be be doing some Saints art as well as live art of musicians.

Krewe Du Vieux was last night and it was great that it didn’t get rained on. Had lots of fun looking forward to more!
A New Phase
Now that the Saints season is sadly over we are going to be posting some different stuff that hopefully somebody out there will enjoy. There will be some random nerdy & cartoony stuff as well as some comix loosely based on things I witness in the quarter during this carnival season.
Black & Gold RUSH!-Geaux Comix
The Saints head out to the west coast for a showdown against a team that is easily the biggest surprise of the season. How the 49ers could pull it together with no real off season prep, a new scheme, coach, but same under performing players is a mystery. The Saints have to get their act together quick and put up some points as the 49ers just don’t have the weapons to keep up with the Saints. Who Dat!
Playoffs!!!! Let’s Do This!!!!!!
OK, so I couldn’t hold this back another day. I’m stoked, jazzed and generally worked up waiting for Saturday night. Can you blame me?
